“Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” --
evangelistic outreach to local children has been a part of Lone Rock’s missions program for many years; it even predates the church itself! Our AWANA club includes kids from three-year-old Puggles through the sixth-grade T & T. We run on Wednesday afternoons (thanks to the local school’s early-out day) from 2:45 to 4:30. In addition to handbook time, games and council time, highlights of this recent year have been the Grand Prix race, Rise Up ministries acrobatics, draft horse hay ride, and the Kaboom Boys science team.
